Contractual necessity: To process purchases, deliver books and administer subscriptions.

Consent: For certain marketing activities, optional cookies or other processing requiring consent.

Legal obligations: For tax, accounting, consumer protection and other legally required records.

7. Payments and Financial Information

Little Timber uses third-party payment services, including Stripe and payment integrations available through GoHighLevel.

These providers process payment information according to their own privacy and security practices.

Little Timber may receive transaction records and limited payment details necessary for order management, customer support, refunds and subscription administration.

We do not intentionally collect or store full payment card details through our public website.

Customers should review the privacy policies of the payment providers involved in their transactions.

8. Digital Book Delivery

When you purchase a Little Timber digital Activity & Adventure Book, we use your purchase information and email address to deliver the product.

Digital books may be delivered as PDF email attachments or through another disclosed delivery method.

We may maintain records showing which books were purchased, delivered or included in a paid membership.

Purchased PDFs may be saved by customers for their permitted personal and household use.

We may use membership information to:

Confirm subscription activation.

Deliver scheduled seasonal books.

Track prepaid book entitlements.

Process recurring payments.

Manage cancellation and renewal requests.

Send essential subscription notifications.

Resolve membership-related customer inquiries.

Cancelling automatic renewal does not automatically remove the member's entitlement to books already included in a paid membership period.

We may retain relevant subscription and entitlement records after cancellation to fulfill outstanding obligations and meet legal requirements.

10. Email Marketing and Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation

Little Timber distinguishes between essential service communications and promotional communications.

Special offers and other marketing messages.

We send commercial electronic messages only where an appropriate consent basis or legal exemption exists.

Marketing messages include required sender information and a functional unsubscribe mechanism.

You may withdraw marketing consent at any time.

Unsubscribing from marketing does not cancel an Adventure Club subscription or prevent essential messages required to provide purchased products.

We maintain relevant consent and unsubscribe records.
