1. Introduction

Thank you for supporting Little Timber®.

Little Timber is a Canadian children's storytelling, educational activity and outdoor adventure brand offering printable digital Activity & Adventure Books, seasonal Adventure Club memberships and related family-oriented content.

We want every customer to receive the products they purchase and enjoy a positive Little Timber experience.

This Digital Products & Refund Policy explains how digital purchases are delivered, how refund requests are handled and how subscription cancellations affect previously purchased benefits.

This policy applies subject to applicable consumer protection laws. Nothing in it limits statutory rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be waived.

2. Digital Product Purchases

Little Timber Activity & Adventure Books are sold as digital PDF products unless expressly described otherwise.

Our current Autumn Activity & Adventure Book, The Forest Gets Ready, is a 48-page printable PDF designed primarily for children ages 4–8.

A digital Activity Book purchase does not include a physical printed book.

Customers may download, save and print purchased products according to our Terms & Conditions and personal-use licence.

3. Pricing and Payment

Individual seasonal digital Activity & Adventure Books are currently priced at CA$14.99 per book.

Little Timber Adventure Club annual membership is currently priced at CA$59 per year.

Prices are in Canadian dollars unless expressly stated otherwise.

Applicable taxes and mandatory charges, if any, are disclosed before payment authorization as required by law.

Payments are processed through authorized third-party payment providers, including Stripe and payment services integrated with GoHighLevel.

4. Digital Product Delivery

Following a successful purchase, Little Timber generally delivers the purchased Activity Book to the email address provided at checkout.

The delivery email includes the purchased PDF as an attachment or another clearly disclosed method of accessing the product.

Customers should ensure their email address is accurate and accessible.

If the delivery email does not appear, customers should:

Check their inbox, spam, junk and promotions folders.

Allow a reasonable period for email processing.

Confirm they used the correct email address at checkout.

Contact Little Timber if the product still has not arrived.

Customer Support: [email protected]

5. General Digital Product Refund Policy

Because digital products can be downloaded, saved and retained after delivery, completed digital purchases are generally considered final once the purchased product has been successfully delivered.

However, Little Timber will consider refund requests in good faith and provide refunds, replacements or other remedies where required by applicable law.

We do not apply a blanket refusal to legitimate refund claims.

6. Circumstances Eligible for Review

Customers may request a refund or another appropriate remedy in circumstances including:

Duplicate charges: The same purchase was accidentally charged more than once.

Incorrect charges: The amount charged differs from the amount properly authorized.

Accidental purchases: A purchase was made unintentionally, subject to the circumstances and applicable law.

Delivery failure: The purchased digital product cannot be delivered or accessed despite reasonable assistance.

Defective files: The PDF is corrupted, incomplete or unusable, and Little Timber cannot provide a suitable replacement within a reasonable time.

Incorrect product: The delivered product materially differs from the purchased product.

Material misrepresentation: The product materially differs from its advertised description.

Unauthorized transactions: A customer reports a payment they did not authorize, subject to verification and applicable payment-provider procedures.

Statutory rights: A refund or other remedy is required by applicable consumer protection legislation.

7. Change-of-Mind Requests

If a customer has successfully received and accessed a digital Activity Book, a change of mind does not automatically entitle the customer to a refund.

Nevertheless, Little Timber may review reasonable requests individually and offer a discretionary refund or another customer-service resolution.

Discretionary decisions do not limit legally required remedies.

8. Technical Problems and Replacement Files

If a customer cannot open, save or print a purchased PDF, Little Timber will make reasonable efforts to assist.

Possible solutions may include:

Resending the delivery email.

Providing a replacement PDF.

Confirming file compatibility.

Offering alternative delivery instructions.

Providing a refund or other appropriate remedy if the issue cannot reasonably be resolved.

Customers should contact Little Timber before assuming a technical problem cannot be corrected.

9. Refund Request Procedure

To request assistance or a refund, email:

[email protected]

Subject: Little Timber Refund Request

Please include:

Purchaser's name.

Email address used at checkout.

Approximate purchase date.

Product purchased.

Description of the issue.

Relevant transaction or order reference, if available.

Do not send complete payment card numbers, passwords or other sensitive payment credentials.

We will review requests and respond within a reasonable period, subject to any applicable statutory deadlines.

10. Refund Processing

Approved refunds are generally returned through the original payment method using the applicable payment provider.

Processing times may vary depending on the payment provider, financial institution and transaction circumstances.

Little Timber does not control the time required for a bank or card issuer to post a completed refund.

Where legally required, refunds will be provided within the applicable statutory timeframe.

11. Little Timber Adventure Club

Little Timber Adventure Club is an optional annual recurring subscription.

The current annual membership price is CA$59 per year, plus applicable taxes, if any.

Members receive the next four scheduled seasonal digital Activity & Adventure Books following enrollment.

The scheduled seasonal release dates are:

December 1 — Winter

March 1 — Spring

June 1 — Summer

September 1 — Autumn

Additional updates, occasional bonus activities and surprises may be provided.

The individual Activity Book purchased before joining Adventure Club is a separate purchase.

12. Adventure Club Cancellation

Members may cancel automatic renewal at any time before their next scheduled renewal charge.

Cancelling automatic renewal stops future scheduled annual renewal payments.

Cancellation does not immediately terminate prepaid membership benefits.

Members remain entitled to all four seasonal Activity & Adventure Books included in their paid annual membership, even if they cancel automatic renewal early.

Members may retain books already delivered to them under the applicable personal-use licence.

13. Adventure Club Refunds

An annual Adventure Club payment is generally non-refundable solely because a member decides to cancel automatic renewal before the end of the paid period.

However, Little Timber will review requests involving:

Duplicate or unauthorized charges.

Incorrect subscription billing.

Failure to provide purchased membership benefits.

Material differences between advertised and delivered benefits.

Other circumstances requiring a remedy under applicable law.

Where a refund is approved, any adjustment to remaining membership benefits will be communicated to the customer and handled in accordance with applicable law.

14. Outstanding Seasonal Book Entitlements

Each paid annual Adventure Club membership includes four upcoming seasonal releases.

If a member cancels automatic renewal before receiving all four books, the remaining books will still be delivered according to the scheduled release dates.

If the fourth included book is released shortly after the annual billing anniversary, that outstanding delivery will remain part of the original paid entitlement.

Little Timber will maintain appropriate purchase and delivery records to fulfil these obligations.

15. Failed Payments and Subscription Renewals

If a subscription renewal payment fails, Little Timber or its payment provider may notify the customer and request updated payment information.

Failed renewal payments do not create a new paid annual membership period.

Outstanding books from a previously paid membership remain subject to the original membership entitlement.

Customers will not be charged for a new annual period without an applicable payment authorization.

16. Refunds and Product Access

If a digital product purchase is fully refunded, Little Timber may revoke any ongoing online access associated solely with that refunded purchase, where lawful.

However, Little Timber recognizes that previously delivered PDF files may remain on the customer's device.

Refund-related access changes will not be used to interfere with unrelated products or membership benefits that remain valid.

17. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

Customers are encouraged to contact Little Timber first so we can investigate and resolve payment concerns.

This does not restrict a customer's right to contact their card issuer, payment provider or applicable consumer protection authority.

Little Timber may provide relevant transaction and delivery records to payment providers when responding to disputes, subject to applicable privacy laws.

18. Promotional Offers and Discounts

Promotional prices, coupons and special offers may be subject to additional conditions disclosed when offered.

Unless expressly stated, promotional offers cannot be applied retroactively to completed purchases.

Nothing in this section limits remedies required by law.

19. Physical Products

This policy primarily applies to digital Activity & Adventure Books and Adventure Club memberships.

Future physical books, merchandise or shipped products may be subject to separate shipping, return and preorder policies.

Any such policies will be disclosed before the relevant purchase.

20. International Customers

Little Timber primarily markets its products to Canadian customers.

Visitors from other countries may access our website, but availability and payment options may vary.

Where mandatory consumer protection laws apply to a transaction, those rights remain unaffected by this policy.

Little Timber does not represent that every product is offered or available in every country.

21. Consumer Protection Rights

This policy is intended to operate consistently with applicable Alberta and Canadian consumer protection laws and any other mandatory consumer laws governing a transaction.

Nothing in this policy excludes or restricts rights to cancellation, refund, replacement or other remedies that cannot legally be waived.

Where a conflict exists between this policy and mandatory law, the applicable law prevails.

22. Policy Updates

Little Timber may update this policy to reflect changes in products, delivery methods, payment processing, business operations or legal requirements.

Updated versions will be published with a revised effective or last-updated date.

Changes will not retroactively remove statutory rights or override existing purchase obligations without a lawful basis.
