3. Eligibility and Parental Responsibility

Our books and activities are primarily designed for children ages 4–8.

However, purchases, subscriptions and commercial accounts must be completed and managed by adults who have legal capacity to enter into the transaction.

Parents and guardians are responsible for supervising children using Little Timber products and selecting activities appropriate to each child's age, abilities and circumstances.

Children should not independently provide payment information or subscribe to paid services.

4. Products and Services

Digital Activity & Adventure Books.

Printable educational and recreational activities.

Seasonal Adventure Club subscriptions.

Children's stories, music and related content.

Family outdoor adventure resources.

Physical books, event admission and merchandise are not included in an Activity Book purchase or Adventure Club membership unless expressly stated.

5. Digital Activity Books

Little Timber Activity & Adventure Books are sold as downloadable digital PDF products unless specifically identified otherwise.

Our current Autumn Activity & Adventure Book, The Forest Gets Ready, contains 48 printable pages designed primarily for children ages 4–8.

Customers may download, save and print purchased books for permitted personal and household use.

Purchasing a digital book does not provide a physical printed copy.

6. Pricing and Currency

Prices displayed for Canadian customers are in Canadian dollars (CAD), unless expressly stated otherwise.

The current individual seasonal digital Activity Book price is CA$14.99.

The current annual Little Timber Adventure Club subscription price is CA$59 per year.

Prices may change for future purchases, products or offers.

Applicable taxes and mandatory charges will be disclosed before a customer authorizes payment, as required by law.

A change to publicly advertised prices does not automatically change an existing subscription's agreed renewal terms.

7. Payments and Payment Processing

Payments are processed through third-party payment providers, including Stripe and payment services integrated with GoHighLevel.

By completing a purchase, you authorize the applicable payment provider to charge the amount disclosed at checkout.

For recurring subscriptions, you authorize recurring charges according to the billing terms presented when joining.

Little Timber does not intentionally store complete payment card numbers through its website.

Customers must provide accurate payment and contact information.

8. Order Confirmation and Digital Delivery

Following a successful digital-product purchase, Little Timber will send an order-related email to the address supplied at checkout.

The purchased PDF may be delivered as an email attachment or through another disclosed digital delivery method.

Customers are responsible for providing a valid email address and maintaining access to their inbox.

If an expected delivery email does not arrive, customers should check spam, junk or promotions folders and contact:

[email protected]

We will make reasonable efforts to resolve delivery problems.

9. Digital Product Licence

Each purchased digital Activity Book includes a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence for personal and household educational and recreational use.

Customers may:

Save a copy of the purchased PDF.

Print the complete book.

Reprint individual pages for their household.

Use activities for non-commercial family learning and recreation.

Unless expressly authorized in writing, customers may not:

Resell or commercially distribute the PDF.

Upload the complete book to public websites or file-sharing platforms.

Share purchased files with unrelated households as a substitute for separate purchases.

Reproduce books for commercial use.

Sell printed copies.

Remove copyright or ownership notices.

Claim ownership of Little Timber content.

Use Little Timber characters or illustrations in commercial products.

Schools, childcare providers, libraries and organizations seeking broader reproduction rights should contact Little Timber for written permission.

10. Intellectual Property

Little Timber names, trademarks, logos, stories, characters, illustrations, music, activity books, website content and original creative materials are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

All rights not expressly granted are reserved.

Purchasing a product does not transfer copyright, trademark rights or ownership of Little Timber intellectual property.

Unauthorized commercial reproduction or distribution is prohibited.

11. Little Timber Adventure Club

Little Timber Adventure Club is an optional recurring membership.

Membership is not required to purchase an individual Activity Book.

The current annual membership price is CA$59 per year, plus applicable taxes where charged.

Members receive the next four scheduled seasonal digital Activity & Adventure Book releases following enrollment.

The scheduled releases are:

December 1 — Winter

March 1 — Spring

June 1 — Summer

September 1 — Autumn

The individual Activity Book purchased before joining Adventure Club is separate from the membership purchase.

Adventure Club may also include Little Timber updates, early announcements and occasional bonus activities or surprises.

These additional benefits do not follow a guaranteed monthly schedule unless expressly stated.

Membership is governed by our separate Adventure Club Subscription Terms, which customers must review before subscribing.

12. Automatic Subscription Renewal

Adventure Club annual subscriptions automatically renew each year unless automatic renewal is cancelled before the applicable renewal date.

The renewal price, billing frequency and applicable terms are disclosed before enrollment.

Customers may cancel automatic renewal using the available subscription-management process or by contacting:

[email protected]

Cancellation of automatic renewal prevents future scheduled renewal charges.

Cancellation does not remove books or benefits already purchased for the paid membership period.

13. Four-Book Membership Entitlement

Each paid annual Adventure Club membership includes four upcoming seasonal digital book releases.

Members remain entitled to those four books even if they cancel automatic renewal before the end of their paid membership period.

If the fourth scheduled release occurs shortly after the annual billing anniversary, Little Timber will still honour that outstanding delivery from the original paid entitlement.

Members may retain downloaded books after their subscription ends, subject to the Digital Product Licence.

14. Refunds and Cancellations

Refunds, duplicate charges, technical delivery problems and other purchase issues are addressed under our separate Digital Products & Refund Policy.

Because digital products can be retained after delivery, completed digital purchases are generally final, subject to applicable consumer protection laws and the remedies described in that policy.

Cancelling Adventure Club automatic renewal does not ordinarily generate a refund for the current paid membership.

Nothing in these Terms restricts statutory cancellation, refund or other consumer rights.

15. Failed Payments

If a payment fails, Little Timber or its payment provider may notify the customer and request updated payment information.

Subscription renewal attempts may be retried according to the payment provider's configured billing rules.

We will not intentionally treat an unpaid renewal as a new paid membership period.

Outstanding digital-book entitlements from a previously paid membership will be honoured according to the applicable subscription terms.

16. Educational and Recreational Purpose

Little Timber content is intended for educational, creative and recreational family use.

Activities may include outdoor exploration, crafts, food preparation, simple building activities and nature observation.

Parents and guardians must assess whether an activity is appropriate and provide necessary supervision.

Any tools, cooking equipment, outdoor environments or potentially hazardous materials should be handled according to appropriate safety practices.

17. Outdoor Safety

Outdoor activities involve risks that vary with location, weather, terrain, wildlife and individual circumstances.

Families are responsible for selecting safe locations, following local rules, supervising children and using appropriate clothing and equipment.

Little Timber does not guarantee that every suggested activity is suitable for every child or environment.

Nothing in this section excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

18. Food, Recipes and Allergies

Some Little Timber products may contain recipes or food-related activities.

Parents and guardians are responsible for checking ingredients, allergies, food safety and age-appropriate preparation methods.

Adult supervision is required when children use kitchen equipment, heat sources or sharp utensils.

19. Website Use

Visitors agree not to:

Use our website for unlawful purposes.

Attempt unauthorized access to accounts or systems.

Interfere with payment processing or website security.

Distribute malicious software.

Misrepresent transactions or payment authorization.

Copy protected content for unauthorized commercial purposes.

We may take reasonable action to prevent misuse, subject to applicable law.

20. Customer Accounts and Email Access

Little Timber currently delivers its digital products primarily through email.

A separate membership portal or login is not required for Adventure Club unless the service is changed with appropriate notice.

Customers should maintain an accurate email address to receive purchased products and important subscription information.

Little Timber may request reasonable identity verification before changing sensitive customer or billing information.

21. Email Communications

Little Timber sends essential purchase and service communications as needed to provide purchased products and administer subscriptions.

Promotional communications are handled separately in accordance with applicable Canadian anti-spam legislation and other relevant laws.

Customers may unsubscribe from promotional communications without cancelling purchased products or subscriptions.

For details, review our Privacy Policy.

22. Privacy and Personal Information

Little Timber collects and processes personal information according to our Privacy Policy and applicable privacy laws.

Customers should review the Privacy Policy to understand information collection, payment processing, service providers, international data transfers and privacy rights.

23. Third-Party Services

Our website and purchasing systems may use third-party services, including:

Stripe for payment processing.

GoHighLevel or LeadConnector for customer management and automation.

DreamHost for website hosting.

Other services supporting email delivery, analytics and website functionality.

Third-party services may operate under their own terms and privacy policies.

Little Timber is responsible for meeting its own applicable legal obligations when using these providers.

24. External Links

Little Timber websites may contain links to third-party websites, music services, social platforms or other resources.

We are not responsible for independent third-party content, availability or privacy practices.

Visitors should review relevant third-party terms before using those services.

25. Product Availability and Changes

We may introduce, modify or discontinue products and services.

Changes to future products do not remove already-purchased digital products or outstanding paid membership entitlements.

If a scheduled seasonal release is delayed, Little Timber will communicate relevant changes and fulfil its obligations under the applicable agreement and consumer protection laws.

26. Errors and Technical Problems

We make reasonable efforts to maintain accurate product descriptions, pricing and website functionality.

If a technical or administrative error affects a purchase, we will investigate and provide an appropriate correction, remedy or refund where required.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted website availability.

27. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Little Timber is not responsible for losses arising solely from circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including certain third-party service interruptions or misuse of products contrary to provided instructions.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, intentional misconduct, legally protected consumer remedies, personal injury where liability cannot be excluded, or any other liability that applicable law prohibits excluding.

28. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by applicable law, users may be responsible for losses directly resulting from their unlawful use of Little Timber services or intentional infringement of Little Timber intellectual property rights.

This provision does not diminish statutory consumer protections.

29. International Visitors and Customers

Little Timber is based in Alberta, Canada.

Visitors from other countries may access our websites, but product availability, shipping, payment options and legal rights may vary by jurisdiction.

We do not represent that every product or service is available in every country.

Where mandatory consumer laws apply to a transaction, those rights remain unaffected by these Terms.

Accessing the website from another country does not necessarily mean Little Timber actively markets or offers services in that jurisdiction.

30. Applicable Law and Disputes

These Terms are generally governed by the applicable laws of Alberta and Canada.

However, mandatory consumer protections and jurisdictional rights that apply under other laws are not excluded.

Customers are encouraged to contact Little Timber first regarding a purchase or service concern.

Email: [email protected]

Nothing in these Terms prevents customers from pursuing legally available complaints, remedies or dispute-resolution processes.

31. Changes to These Terms

Little Timber may update these Terms to reflect changes in products, technology, business operations or legal requirements.

The updated version will be published with a revision date.

Material changes affecting existing paid subscriptions will be communicated as required by law.

Updated Terms will not retroactively remove purchased benefits or override existing contractual rights without a lawful basis.

32. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is determined to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.

33. No Waiver

Failure to enforce a provision on one occasion does not automatically waive the right to enforce it in other circumstances.

34. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with the applicable product description, checkout disclosures, Privacy Policy, Refund Policy and Adventure Club Subscription Terms, form the relevant customer agreement to the extent permitted by law.

Where specific subscription terms conflict with general website terms, the more specific terms apply, subject to mandatory consumer protection laws.
